Hopefully this page will help you see the art on this site as it should be seen. Every monitor and video card is different and will display slightly different results. CRTs or tube based monitors are usually much darker then LCDs. Older LCDs loose contrast and color with age. Some LCDs also have low contrast ratios and can't display as many colors newer LCDs
All of my work comes from a pantone color calibrated system. I created these test images off of my system to help you adjust the brightness and contrast of your monitor. These images will help you adjust your monitor closer to a neutral point. This will help you see and print all graphics better.
8 bars in grayscale. All monitors should see this.
16 bars in grayscale average . A good monitor or LCD should see 15 bars.
32 bars in grayscale . A good monitor or LCD should be 25-28 bars.
